Dear Organizers, To expedite the application and approval process in organising competitions in Johor, Please submit the following documents to JCA when applying to organize :-
(1) REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE of Entity organizing the competition.
Example: SSM Registration Certificate, Perakuan Pendaftaran Badan Sukan or other documents.
(2) Name, Contact Number, Email and Address of Organiser/Organiser’s Representative;
(3) PROFORMA COMPETITION POSTER complete with Competition Format and NAME of CHIEF ARBITER and ARBITER TEAM;
(4) LETTER OF SUPPORT/CONSENT from Venue Owner.
(5) FINANCIAL PROOF of Ability to Pay Prize Money offered in Proforma Competition Poster; Example: Letter of Sponsorship, Bank Guarantee, Financial Statement of Organiser or other documents.
(6) PAYMENT of ENDORSEMENT FEE
A. Physical/OTB – Fee Amount will be advised based on Type of Competition and Organiser.
The organiser (PCDP as affiliate) needs to pay sanction fee RM100 to JCA in order to organise a FIDE rated event.

(7) Any other Supporting Documents.
(8) Applications MUST be submitted at least ONE(1) month before the date of competition.
(9) Applications are to be sent to:- office@johorchess.org
Attention of: NA Guan Zhen Chuan Secretary, JCA. Furthermore, we advise organizers to apply for the necessary approvals/permit from the following authorities and follow latest guidelines issued, Wherever Mandatory and/or, Necessary:-
(1) Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN);
(2) Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM);
(3) Kementerian Belia dan Sukan / Pejabat Pesuruhjaya Sukan;
(4) PDRM and DBKL.
